Frequently Asked Questions

My price point varies greatly from project to project depending on the deliverables, timeline and scale of the project itself. Generally speaking, I’ll work at a rate of $95/hr.
When a project begins, I’ll work with you to create a time estimate. Once the time estimate is created, I’ll send over a fixed price for the total cost of the project. At that point, it doesn’t matter if I go over my estimate by 100 hours. The cost will remain the same.
The only exception to this is if there is a significant change in the deliverables for a project that are outside of the original scope of work. At that point, any changes around pricing will be discussed with the client before moving forward with the project.

Almost every project I take on starts with a casual conversation with my client. During our conversation, my goal is to get a feel for the vision, style, and best solution for the project. After our call to make sure I haven’t missed anything critical, I will also send over a design questionnaire.
Once I feel I have gained a deep enough understanding for the vision, I’ll start doing my own research and create initial design comps to share with the client. And then we will cruise through to final designs from there. This could take multiple rounds, every project and client is different.

No problem! I’m happy to travel to you. Depending on the location, I may ask you to help cover costs of travel.

I always hope you’ll love something we create, but that doesn’t always happen. On any given project, I include up to two rounds of revisions. If you’re still not satisfied after seeing three rounds of comps, we can always keep going. I will just need to charge at an hourly rate for the additional time that I spend on the project. This will always be discussed before proceeding with an additional round of revision.

Yep! I can build websites using Squarespace or Shopify. I don’t do coding or front-end development work if you’re looking for something super custom. If that’s the case we can bring in a developer to help us build it.

I’m always happy to send over any assets we worked on together anytime, just email me! And no, I won’t charge you for the request. If your project requires a lot more work after the initial deliverables, we can always set up a retainer contract to make sure that you’ve got everything covered.
